Homalothecium sericeum (Hedw.) Schimp.

Etant à la recherche de Homalothecium aureum présente uniquement en France en région méditerranéenne, je suis tombé sur un Homalothecium que j'ai considéré sur le terrain (un muret de pierres calcaires dans le Var) comme un éventuel H.aureum vu la forme très robuste de la plante :
Le port ressemblait à celui connu de H.sericeum :
Comparé à la taille d'un Homalothecium sericeum habituel (échantillon de gauche), ce nouvel échantillon paraissait effectivement hors normes :
