Syn: Biddulphia aurita (Lyngbye) Brébisson.

Diatomée marine, rencontrée dans une récolte de psammon du port de Paracas, océan Pacifique, Pérou.
Dimensions : 25 x 21 µm. Stries aréolades, 11 en 10 µm.
