Salut à tous!
Je suis désolé, mais je ne parle pas français!
So I need to speak english...!
My name is Franco, I'm a student of Natural sciences at the University of Florence, Italy, and I've been into microscopy for 2 years. I have started with my first scope for studying bryophytes (an old Officine Galileo one) and ended up with my Zeiss Universal which is now almost "complete", after gathering many pieces around Ebay and after some home-made customization.
Here is my boy, with the Arduino-controlled automated photo stacking system, actioned by a touch screen, and customized automated stage:
I have also started making arranged Diatoms slides and at the moment I'm always working to improve my collection and I'm always looking for new material from all over the world. I'm very interested in exchanging material/slides with other collectionists!
This is my setup for Diatoms arrangements:
And these are some of my works!
I have signed up into this forum to be in contact with other microscopy and Diatoms enthusiasts from France and share material and experiences!
Best wishes for the new year to everyone!
