Merci, Pierre!
Sorry for writing in English, I'm not able to understand French, so I try google translator...
I have a Wild M3z with a not functional motor driven mirror/lighting unit below the objective (I'll post fotos later).
I removed the blocked motor and the mirror housing, and wanted to remove the mounting plate that held the ring shaped fibre optics lighting, but there is no way to find the screws that holds the plate to the microscope housing. I think the screw heads are inside the microscope housing. I removed both zoom knobs and the black round sheet metal that holds the serial number below the prism housing, and see a lot screws, and a few of them are locked by epoxy.
I don't know, if I should try to remove these screws...
So if anybody knows how to open the microscope housing, please post a detailed explanation.
Thank you!
