Ulothrix zonata (F.Weber & D.Mohr) Kützing

Observée dans une rivière, accrochée aux galets, Ulothrix zonata est une algue filamenteuse formant des amas verts flottant dans le courant (faible en ces temps de sécheresse).

Les rameaux sont unisériés :

Les cellules comportent un chloroplaste pariétal formant un manchon quasi complet chez cette espèce.
Chaque cellule comporte un noyau, visible ici au centre, et plusieurs pyrénoïdes répartis dans le plaste :

Les parois chez U. zonata sont épaisses et présentent de petites stratifications.
Largeur des cellules : 34.4 µm ( selon John, Whitton et Brook de 15 à 7 0µm).
